A feature film by Sean Nichols Lynch shot in the summer of 2012. From the website: "PREP SCHOOL is an upcoming feature-length film centering on the lives of a few deeply troubled private school students in modern-day Northern California. The feature debut of award-winning filmmaker Sean Nichols Lynch, PREP SCHOOL was shot in the San Francisco Bay Area during the summer of 2012 and recently finished post-production." www.prepschoolmovie.com
Last Sunday we impulsively shot a spec commercial for jeans. Martin Strauss (one half of the directing team @ plummerstrauss.com) , who was crashing on our couch while visiting from San Francisco, myself, and Laura Valladao flushed out the concept over coffee late Sunday morning. We location scouted Sunday afternoon. We scrambled to find actors. At one point we stood outside of the subway entrance and tried to cast the people walking by. We could not have been luckier to end up with Brian Fithian and Alik Barsoumian. HUGE Thanks to: Paul Ellington (camera provided by), Genevieve Evans (assistant camera), Sante Prempeh (rooftop!)
A Visual sample from Quandary's (a creative collective made up of myself, Dylan T Nottage, and the talented Matthew Elium) never completed sci-fi epic. The set was built in Matt's garage during the weekends over the course of a year.
I’m a cinematographer and visual artist working out of Brooklyn, NY and Oakland, CA on narrative and commercial projects.
My work, which is rooted in nuanced lighting and intuitive lensing has been featured in Kodak’s In-Camera Magazine and the Oakland Tribune. My passion for storytelling in the visual arts reaches beyond the screen into my work as a painter and illustrator, where I'm known for my unique use of sequential imagery in stencil and graffiti art.
I have two cats, and I love food, R+B, and sneakers.
